Industrial Access gets ready for the opening of the first accredited IPAF centre in Romania and the Balkans

Bucuresti, 13th of February, 2012 – In its pursuit for the opening of the first International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Centre in Romania and the Balkans, the team of Industrial Access Romania announces that it was granted the certification “IPAF certification for operator and demonstrator 1b and 3a&b”.The certification was granted to Mr. Petrisor Vasilescu – Technical Manager and Mr. Stefan Ponea – CEO & Managing Partner Industrial Access – upon successful completion of the operator and demonstrator courses. Therefore the two became the firstly professionals in the aerial equipment industry in Romania to hold these certification.
 Industrial Access holds all necessary evaluations needed in order to become a recommended partner for the provision of IPAF training and certification services at the same level of the other 450 training centres available worldwide:  the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 (since 2005), the Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001 (since 2009).
The Environmental Management System in conformity with ISO 14001:2004 is currently being implemented. “I have been doing on site research on specialised centres in Western Europe and our evaluation shows that we are at least on the same level and in certain cases even surpassing them, from the point of view of the applied safety level and of the implemented protection system, in full compliance to the European legislation in force”, assesses Stefan Ponea. Industrial Access has a nationwide coverage in Romania, with 8 deposits (sales and service personnel) and 3 subsidiaries in Serbia, Moldova and Bulgaria.
